Giving back has been who we are since 1874. Let’s look at some of our favorite moments of those 150 years of helping families and communities! By the end of the 1940s and into the 1960s, Foresters began a wave of global give-back efforts alongside large-scale support for charities across Canada, the US and the UK. This year, it’s Foresters 150th anniversary! That’s 150 years of giving back to families and local communities. We’re kicking off the celebrations by highlighting our favorite moments from our history! In 1906, a historic 7.9 magnitude earthquake in San Francisco spurred one of the earliest instances of Foresters organizing a large-scale emergency relief effort for our members.
